Ghana: Allied Consortiums provides financial support to an NGO

Zongovation Hub – a non-governmental organization (NGO) that provides vocational training in information and communication technology (ICT) for young people, has received financial support from Allied Consortiums, an Africa-based civil engineering company South with branches in Ghana.

Zongovation Hub on Monday received a cash donation of GH¢30,000 from the allied consortia, to assist in the execution of their training activities for the youth of the country.

Zongovation, an NGO established in 2018, has over the years trained more than 500 young men and women in website development, mobile app development, digital media, coding, data management and business intelligence. other ICT-related activities.

Mr. Benjamin Kofi Quashie, Group Chairman of Allied Consortiums, said they were motivated to support the Hub because they understood their vision and mission.

He said that this gesture was also part of their efforts to support social development in the country, hence the decision to provide financial support to the Hub to help it carry out its activities.

Mr. Quashie said they will continue to support the Hub’s activities, in future endeavors having opened a branch in Ghana.

Mr. Isaac Kwame Penni, Managing Director of Allied Consortiums, commended the Hub for the support it has given to the country’s youth.

He added that plans were in place to provide them with additional support as a way of tackling social vices in the country.

Mrs. Nonkazimulo Quashie – Administrative Director of Allied Consortia who presented the check to the NGO urged the young people to take advantage of the training opportunities at the Hub to develop their skills.

Indeed, the world is now dominated by ICT and not taking advantage of this opportunity would be to their disadvantage.

Mr. Alhassan Khalid, Director of Finance and Administration, thanked the allied consortia for supporting his team.

According to Mr. Khalid, they could have helped more young people to acquire ICT skills, but they were limited by financial resources, so the support had come at the perfect time.

He said the funds would be used wisely as they seek to train more young men and women to be financially independent.

Allied Consortium operates in civil engineering, construction, real estate, mining, ICT services, oil and gas.
